By installing or using Vault New Tab, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please uninstall and discontinue use of the extension.

Vault New Tab is free, open-source software distributed under the MIT License.

3. Local Storage and User Responsibility
Because Vault New Tab operates locally without cloud servers, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups. We provide built-in JSON export and local folder sync tools to assist in keeping your data secure. We are not responsible for data loss resulting from browser data wipes, profile corruption, or hardware malfunction.
4. Third-Party Services Disclaimer
Features that access external feeds (such as RSS readers, Open-Meteo weather, and embedded media from YouTube or Spotify) are provided for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content availability or external API changes.
5. Disclaimer of Endorsement
Vault New Tab is an independent project and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Obsidian, Dynalist Inc., or Google LLC.
